The company has around 12.000 employees and is present throughout the electricity value chain and in the gas commercialization activity. It is the third largest electricity production company in the world and almost 70% of its energy is produced from renewable resources. EDP provides electricity to almost 10 million customers.

EDP opened its doors to new talents from the Inspiring Career Camp, a program focused on soft skills training and company visits that allows these young people to try different professions and observe different work environments in order to be better able to choose their future career.
This year some of the young women were able to be inspired by some of our women engineers.
